Interactive PDF FAQsUpdated 16 days ago

The FAQs below apply to our digital items in interactive PDF format, including the Writual Tarot Planner (Interactive PDF) and the Digital Decoding the Cards bundle.

WHICH PDF ANNOTATION APP SHOULD I USE?
The interactive PDF requires a PDF annotation app to use, so we have compiled a list of recommended apps based on your device:

APPLE DEVICESANDROID DEVICES

• GoodNotes
• Noteshelf
• Notability
• Xodo

• Noteshelf
• Notein
• Penly
• Xodo

Note: Some of these apps require a subscription to access all features, so we recommend researching which one best suits your needs.

WHY DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD A SEPARATE APP?
The interactive PDF is a hyperlinked file designed to work within a PDF annotation app such as GoodNotes or Noteshelf. Without one, the hyperlinks and interactive features may not function properly. Using an annotation app allows you to write, doodle, type, use stickers, and navigate using the tabs.

CAN I USE THE INTERACTIVE PDF IN ADOBE ACROBAT?
Yes, with limitations. The interactive PDF is password protected to prevent accidental editing of links and navigation. In Acrobat, you’ll need to use annotation tools rather than the Edit PDF tools. Text can be added using comments, and images can be added using the stamp feature. Annotation options in Acrobat are limited and may feel clunky compared to dedicated planner apps.

CAN I USE THE INTERACTIVE PDF ON PHONES OR COMPUTERS?
Apps like GoodNotes and Xodo are available for desktop and mobile, but the experience may be limited. The interactive PDF is designed to be used on a tablet with an Apple Pencil or stylus, but you can decide what works best for you.

CAN I USE THE INTERACTIVE PDF ON AMAZON KINDLE DEVICES?
Kindle devices and apps are not fully compatible with this planner. PDFs must be converted by Amazon to allow writing, and conversion often fails for password-protected or interactive planners. Internal buttons and links may not work, and in some cases the file may be rejected entirely.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH / NOT FULLY SUPPORTED
Due to the interactive and protected nature of this planner, the following devices and apps are not compatible or may not fully support all features:

• Kindle devices and apps (including Kindle Scribe)
•
Evernote
• OneNote
• Google Docs / Google Drive PDF preview
• Apple Files / iOS Quick Look (default PDF viewer)
• Browser-based PDF viewers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Dropbox, OneDrive)
• PDF-to-Word or other PDF conversion tools

For the best experience, we recommend using a dedicated PDF annotation app on a tablet, such as GoodNotes, Notability, Noteshelf, or Xodo.

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD MY FILES?
After completing your purchase, you will receive an email with a download link. Click the link to access the download page, then select "Download Now." The zip file will download through your browser or directly to your device. Open your downloads folder, tap or click the zip file to extract it, and you’ll have access to all your files.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY INTERACTIVE PDF?
Sometimes up to an hour after purchase, you will receive an email with a link to access your files. If you don’t see it, check your promo, social, or spam folders. If you still can’t find it, the email may have been entered incorrectly, or there may have been a technical issue. Please contact us, and our support team will assist you.

WHY DOES THE INTERACTIVE PDF DISPLAY TWO PAGES?
The interactive PDF is designed to simulate an open physical planner. It’s best viewed in landscape mode on your tablet (ensure screen orientation is unlocked). You can also use portrait mode and zoom in to view one page at a time.

CAN I RETURN MY INTERACTIVE PDF?
Since the interactive PDF is delivered as a downloadable file, it is non-returnable. We have a strict no-refund policy for all digital products. If you have any questions or concerns before purchasing, please contact us.
